Nawaz Medicare Hospital was started to serve the people of this city in 1926 as the first private hospital under the supervision of Dr.Muhammad Nawaz (M.D Munich 1926), who was a very famous doctor. Government awarded him Sitara-e-khidmat for his services to humanity.
In 1940 this hospital has also provided the facility of X-Ray in this city when there was no X-Ray machine even in Government hospital. In the same year hospital also provided the first private Laboratory in this city. These are great achievements of this hospital.
In 1985, new campus (present) was built to provide the latest facilities to the residents of Faisalabad and its surrounding. It consists of OPD Department, Consultant rooms, semi private wards, Indoor patient rooms(Private & Deluxe room) , emergency room, operation theater, Labour room, Lab, Pharmacy , Ultrasound room, Radiography room, etc with latest available facilities.
